o reserve price Clock "COMTOISE", with a splendid frame and a dial all in brass. Made with zone-driven operation. With its old fusee completely intact, it is reminiscent of a floral scene, with finely pierced rosette engravings. Clock dating to around 1890/1900. Original hands. Percussions with hammer on a bell, the half-hour and the hours, repeated at about 2½ minutes apart. Recently lubricated by an expert watchmaker, it is in use and functioning regularly. Cordage in good condition. The case is in good order, cleaned with a specific product. Authentic in every part. Movement with perfect escapement. Excellent strikes. Excellent repetition. Keeps the escapement well. N.B. The clock is supplied WITHOUT the winding key, WITHOUT weights or pendulum, which if present in the photos would be only demonstrative! It is advisable to use weights of 3.5 kg for winding and 3.7 kg for the chimes. Measures 28 x 15 cm and 42 cm in height including the cap. Weighs 5.7 kg. N.B.
