Comme des Garcons (Japanese, founded 1969), including Junya Watanabe label. Two rare clothing items comprising one Fall / Winter 1993 floral skirt in black, orange, yellow, and green, with dramatic rounded silhouette to base, raw edges, and invisible side seam zipper; and one Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons 1993 butter yellow knit dress with asymmetrical straps, knotted thick fringe strands at hem, and asymmetric scoop to back neck. Dress is from Junya Watanabe's debut womenswear collection with Comme des Garcons, 'Origins and Pattern-making', which was shown at Paris Fashion Week in 1993. Both pieces appropriately marked and made in Japan. Skirt size medium, style GS-04033M, AD1993, 100% wool; knit dress size not marked, fabric does have stretch, approximate flat lay measurements: shoulders 13.75", chest 14", length from tip of strap to longest fringe 51", style JA-040060, AD1993, 100% wool.
