Column - Piedistallo - Finemente Tornita e Scanalata...

Refined exhibit column (living room pedestal) entirely made of solid wood, finely turned and carved, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Scenic, beautiful in appearance and form, it features a central shaft characterized by an elongated column with circular-section vertical fluting, interspersed with ring joints and a turned, smooth bulb that enhances the natural grain. The lower part culminates in an elegant fluted, bead-mathed bell base resting on a solid circular plinth base that ensures optimal stability. The upper circular top surface has a raised, molded toro edge, ideal for hosting precious vases, marble busts, or bronze sculptures. The finish highlights the wood’s figure with warm amber and brown-gold tones. This column represents a perfect fusion of strict cabinetry craftsmanship and scenographic versatility, to enrich a collection of historic furnishings, both as a sophisticated contrasting element in modern and contemporary interior design. An opportunity for a touch of class that will enhance any artwork or floral arrangement placed upon it.
