Colnago - ace - Bicycle - 2016

Colnago Ace Carbon - Carbon Racing Bicycle Shimano 105 Mavic Aksium Warehouse Find GENERAL DESCRIPTION Up for auction an extraordinary and blazing Colnago race bike, the famous Ace model. A unit in near-new condition, a warehouse find that had remained unused. The monocoque frame is made entirely of high-modulus HM carbon fiber, designed in Italy to ensure the perfect balance between comfort on long distances, lightness, and structural rigidity. The finish features an elegant matte black paint with white and red details and graphics, and Ernesto Colnago’s autograph on the top tube. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS The bike boasts a high-reliability setup equipped with the full Shimano 105 groupset. The drivetrain includes a Shimano 105 rear derailleur, Shimano 105 front derailleur, black aluminum 105-level double-chainring crankset, and integrated brake/shifter levers on the handlebars. The braking system consists of dedicated Colnago X-Brake 3 brake calipers. The cockpit includes Cinelli Vai black aluminum stem and handlebars with black tape, paired with a Colnago seatpost and ergonomic Colnago K1 saddle featuring tricolor accents. Completing the package are a frame-mounted bottle cage and prestigious Mavic Aksium aluminum wheels. CONDITION AND RECOMMENDED PREPARATION WORK Being a warehouse find carefully stored in a depot, the carbon frame and all components are in excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition. Since it has never been ridden and has just been resting, before first use a quick routine check, chain lubrication, and tire pressure inspection are recommended. Visually, the paint and components are practically unscathed. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING NOTES The lot will be packed with extreme care and shipped via tracked and insured courier. Please note that to ensure safer shipping and reduce package volume, some parts of the bike such as pedals, saddle, wheels, and the handlebar may be disassembled.
