A collection of three alabaster alabastra, including, from left to right: a slender vessel with a piriform body tapering towards the neck, with a narrow mouth and two lateral lug handles; a tall example with a long tapering body, funnel-shaped neck, thick rim and opposed lug handles at the shoulder; and a shorter alabastron with a tapering body, thickened rim and lug handles below the neck. Size: 100-235mm x 45-55mm; Weight: 670g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the Netherlands art market in the 1990s.
