Collection of maritime travel ephemera, dated 1929, documenting transatlantic and coastal voyages. The group includes a Clyde Steamship Company annual pass card, No. A 155, issued to Carl R. Gray, President of the Union Pacific System. The pass features a printed company flag and a signature in blue ink reading Franklin D. Mooney as President and General Manager. Several United States Lines passenger list booklets are present, including one for the steamship Leviathan dated July 9, 1929, listing Commodore H. A. Cunningham and executive staff. A souvenir log for the Leviathan covers Voyage 7 West from August 27 to September 2, 1929, providing daily coordinates and weather observations. A brown card souvenir booklet for the steamship America features an oval ship illustration and a handwritten inscription in black ink dated August 20, 1929, signed J. Roszberg; the reverse of the booklet is inscribed in ink Anna Niederhofer. The collection is completed by three postcards, including two for the Baltimore and Carolina Steamship Company, also known as the Weems Line, depicting the vessel Esther Weems. Dimensions: See Desc.
