The hinge teeth are intact and fit perfectly; when displayed, the lid rests stably in place in a completely unnoticeable way. Requires insertion of a new pin to restore a fixed opening. 2. Sugar bowl (Plating wear): Originally stamped "Argento 1000," it shows typical wear from rubbing (bleeding) along the protruding edges of the lid and base, where the core metal beneath is exposed, a detail that gives the piece a magnificent authentic patina. 3.
