Very beautiful and stylish vintage wall coat rack. The coat rack dates from the 1960s or early 1970s of the last century. It is 39 cm high, 80 cm wide and 7 cm deep and is very likely made in the Netherlands. The coat rack features a butterfly design, made of a black metal frame, on which veneered boards are mounted with 4 hooks and a small mirror attached. Both material and shape perfectly breathe the sixties and the Flower Power era. Next to the mirror there is a hook screwed on. A comb or brush can hang from it. Whether this hook originally belongs with the coat rack is not clear, but it does fit with the overall look. The coat rack shows logical signs of use. The metal (probably stainless steel) has some buildup here and there, and along both edges a piece of veneer is broken (see photos). These signs of use can easily be cleaned/repair, but that is not necessary. They are barely visible and they belong to the age and appearance of this beautiful piece of furniture! This coat rack fully exudes the 1960s and 1970s; the era of Flower Power; very beautiful. It suits any type of interior. In a modern interior, but also in a more classical interior. The coat rack will be carefully packed and insured for shipping.
