24h Le Mans Porsche 917 LH 1970 The second Porsche 917 with the long tail started the 38th 24-hour race and quickly became the photographers' favorite. During qualifying the car flaunted a purple livery, which was complemented the day before the race with green accents. This "psychedelic" 917 reflected the culture of the time, and more than 1000 spray cans were needed to finish it. The car, entered by Martini Racing, was shared by Gérard Larrousse and Willi Kauhsen.
