Rare Vintage Heuer Champion Racing Helmet Desk Clock - 1970s - Swiss Made A rare and iconic collectible item for the enthusiast of vintage watches and motorsport/automobilia. This concerns an original Heuer Champion racing helmet desk clock from the 1970s. This unique clock was produced at the time in a limited edition as a promotional item in collaboration with the well-known luxury brand Champion. What makes this specimen extra sought after among serious collectors is the original "Swiss Made" designation at the bottom of the dial (under the 6). This guarantees that the helmet is equipped with the authentic, high-quality Swiss Heuer movement from that era. This, in contrast to later, less valuable replicas from other brands. Brand: Heuer (in collaboration with Champion) Type: Racing Helmet Alarm Desk Clock Period: 1970s (circa 1970-1975) Movement: Original Swiss Heuer movement (Swiss Made) Design: Classic racing helmet with white/red/black livery and a movable, transparent visor. The clock is in beautiful, original vintage condition. The delicate plastic visor shows only light signs of aging. The iconic Champion branding and race stripes are still very crisp and bright in color. The battery compartment is completely clean and shows no signs of old battery leakage. The movement runs perfectly on time.
