From 1958 to 1968, she attended drawing classes at La Providence and at the Daubé Atelier in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany. In 1968, she moved to Morocco, where her paintings imbibe the warm colors of Africa. Her undeniable talent as a colorist reached full maturity there. In 1971, she returned to Nantes and studied at the Fine Arts school. From 1974 to 1980, she lived in Reims, in the Champagne region, as a student at the Beaux-Arts, where she collaborated with a team of painters specialized in oil painting. She settled in Rouen in 1980 and worked in Viviane Favre’s studio until 1984. In the same year, she met Albert MALET, the last great painter of the Rouen School. Under his tutelage, she affirmed her talent as an impressionist, marking a decisive turning point in her career. She made her debut at the Galerie du Comptoir Rouennais in 1986, and her first exhibition at the Palais des Congrès of Rouen was a resounding success. Since then, she has exhibited regularly. In 1988, she won the First Prize in Oil Painting at the Arts et Création Salon in Marseille. She was also a finalist at the 24th Cannes International Prize and at the 39th Deauville International Salon. She has also received several medals (gold, silver, and bronze) at various exhibitions.
