He studied fine arts at the University of the Arts Berlin. There he earned the title Meisterschüler. He received, among other things, an Erasmus scholarship for ESBAM in Marseille (France) and the Villa Serpentara scholarship of AdK Berlin and the German Academy Rome. Since 2006 he has worked as a freelance artist and curator and has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions.
