Christ (Kristus) amongst the Women Karl Schmidt-Rottluff

In a letter dated 25 August 1964 to Ernest Rathenau, the editor of the supplement to the Catalogue Raisonné, Schmidt-Rottluff writes: "Rosa Schapire was unable to include the woodcut ‘Christ and the Women’ in her catalogue; although it was created in 1919, it was never printed. I rediscovered the block this spring and had the idea of having it printed (...)".
