CHINA--REPUBLIC. Bank of China. 1 Dollar, 1.7.1915. P-37Ds. S/M#C294-62. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. The 1 Yuan specimen note from the 1915 reduced size 'Huangdi' series. A very rare design, and only the fourth example we have ever handled, according to our extensive online archive. A handsome note with simple aesthetics that is likely missing from even the most advanced collections, and certainly an item that will appeal to quality conscious specialists. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
