Commendable Kirin Crown from Kuang-hsu's Final Year CHINA. Kirin. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1908). Kirin Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS Genuine--Chopmark, EF Details. L&M-576; K-569; KM-Y-183B; WS-0538. Manchu type. Emanating from the final year in the reign of the Ch'ing Dynasty's penultimate emperor, this moderately circulated crown stands as a desirable RARITY no matter the noted chopmarks. Mostly occurring within the inner circle of the characters side, these are rather easy to overlook, with a fairly old tone increasing the overall charm of this crown. A great opportunity for the specialist of the mint. Estimate: $7,000 - $10,000. Provenance: From the Liu Mung Wang (汪柳門) Collection.
