The Fengtien Year 25/Year 24 Mule 50 Cents CHINA. Fengtien. 3 Mace 6 Candareens (50 Cents), Year 25 (1899). Fengtien Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. L&M-479; K-249A; KM-Y-86; WS-0593. Mule with dragon side of year 25 and Manchu side of year 24. An EXTREMELY RARE muling of types, whereby the Manchu side from the previous year was accidentally used rather than the normal year 25, this minor displays some scattered hairlines from the noted cleaning, but still retains excellent detail overall and yields a fairly even gunmetal gray hue. A tremendous opportunity for a type that we have not had in one of our sales since our April 2021 Hong Kong Auction--a PCGS AU-55 that realized a total of $144,000 (Lot # 53076). Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA. 奉天二十四年/二十五年混配五角銀幣光緒二十五年奉天機器局造五角銀幣。奉天造幣廠。混配版，龍面為二十五年，滿文面為二十四年。極罕的混配，誤用了前一年的滿文面模。雖見清洗所致的些許絲痕，整體細節仍佳，槍灰色調均勻。此版自2021年4月香港拍賣後未再現身，當時一枚PCGS AU-55以144,000美元成交（拍品編號53076），本拍品實屬難得良機。
