PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. L&M-449; K-191; KM-Y-65.2; WS-0617. Variety with "dotted-eyed" dragon (eyes incuse with raised central dots). Displaying only a light degree of cleaning, which accounts for the overall designation, this otherwise uncirculated specimen emanates from a very pivotal and chaotic period, being struck just before the Boxer Rebellion. A great example of this particular dragon type, differing from that with solid raised eyes and that with so-called "spectacles," whereby the eyes are incuse only without the raised central dots. Estimate: $10,000 - $15,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
