Beautiful, original and exclusive surrealist-design chess from the Cinco Días (ENDESA) brand from 2004, limited and already discontinued, comprising a nice original board made of injected aluminum over wood, 33 x 33 cm, and a complete set of 32 original and detailed pieces signed by the Dalí Foundation SDFV03. These pieces represent the artist's best works: the melting clock, the long-legged elephant, Dalí's dresses... The dimensions of the pieces range from 5 to 9 cm. These pieces have felt on their bases to avoid damaging them or the board. This chess commemorates the 5th Centenary of the birth of the great Salvador Dalí. Both the board and the pieces are in very good condition, although the board may have some minor defects (superficial scratches, see photos). The pieces are in exceptional condition. The lot also includes color photocopies that show and describe each piece and its relation to the artist's different works. Therefore, we are talking about a chess set with an original board and pieces, discontinued, in very good condition and highly sought after by collectors worldwide. The lot will be adequately packaged, protected, and shipped with tracking and insurance. There is the option to pick it up in person in Toledo, capital (Spain).
