Schneider Art Deco Table Lamp – Mottled Glass & Artistic Wrought Iron – France, circa 1925-1930 FRENCH French Art Deco table lamp, circa 1925-1930, pairing a mottled glass tulip signed Schneider with an architectural wrought-iron base. The glass displays rich shades of pink, yellow, ivory and orange-red. When unlit, it has a beautiful satin, cloudy appearance; when lit, it emits a warm glow that reveals the depth of the glass. The tulip bears an incised signature “Schneider” visible on the glass. The openwork wrought-iron base features a decoration of stylized leaves, vegetal motifs, and raised fruit or berry motifs, characteristic of the French Art Deco decorative vocabulary of the period.
