Centrepiece - Silver

Elegant and imposing large centerpiece / vintage fruit bowl, made in the second half of the 20th century by the prestigious Italian silversmiths Zaramella Argenti (Padua). The piece stands out for the extraordinary quality of materials and for the careful artisanal workmanship: The Cup: In fine high-lead crystal, heavily faceted with geometric and star motifs that create a splendid refraction of light. The upper rim features a refined serrated edge. At the center of the cup is a beautiful decorative rosette in silver that securely attaches the body to the base. The Base: A solid circular pedestal in thick 800 silver (not filled), enriched on the edge with a classic motif of embossed leaves. On the base are clearly stamped the official marks of the Italian State certifying the piece’s authenticity: The maker’s mark ★ 30 PD, which attributes the work to the master silversmiths Bruno and Cesare Zaramella of Padua (active with this hallmark after 1968). The factory logo of the manufactory (Z inscribed in a diamond). The silver fineness mark (800 inside an oval). A piece of furniture with great charm and solidity, ideal for enhancing formal tables or as an exclusive collectible item.
