Tutte le aste / Altro / Centre table - Marble
Designer coffee table in Nero Marquinia marble and glass, from prestigious Made in Italy production, 1980s. Characterized by a strong sculptural presence and a minimalist, essential language, it consists of a cylindrical base in Nero Marquinia marble, worked to a full mass and finished on a lathe, supporting a circular glass top. Above the top, in line and in compositional continuity, rests a second, smaller-diameter cylinder, a distinctive element of the project. Being made up of independent, movable elements, the cylinders can be configured freely: positioned laterally relative to the top or centrally, as shown in the images, allowing different compositions and interpretations of the object. The contrast between the solid mass of marble and the lightness of the glass creates a refined balance, typical of Italian design of the late 20th century. The natural veins of Nero Marquinia marble make each piece unique, while the top resting on it emphasizes the architectural and monolithic character of the object. An elegant, timeless coffee table, ideal for contemporary environments and spaces of aesthetic exploration. The veins present in the photos may vary slightly, as more than one exemplar is available. ⸻ Materials: • Nero Marquinia Marble • Glass ⸻ Dimensions: • Total height: approximately 34 cm • Height of the glass top: approximately 23 cm • Diameter of the glass top: approximately 90 cm • Diameter of the single cylinder: approximately 30 cm
