Celadon-Glazed Bowl with Chrysanthemum-Petal Rim...

This celadon bowl features a rim shaped like chrysanthemum petals, undulating gracefully as if the petals were unfurling. It has a gently curved body that tapers inward and a small, exquisitely crafted foot ring. Compact in size—approximately 5 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter—it fits perfectly in the palm of one's hand. The entire vessel is coated in a warm, lustrous celadon glaze characterized by a network of natural crackles. These golden, thread-like lines crisscross the surface, displaying the classic crackle patterns associated with Ge or Guan kilns. The glaze color is elegant and soft, with subtle blue-green hues; the texture is smooth and translucent, exuding a refined, understated luster. Crackles cover both the interior and exterior, creating a rich, layered texture that reveals endless nuances upon close inspection and evokes a strong sense of antiquity. The foot ring is neatly trimmed, revealing the dark brown body material at the base—a classic feature known as "purple mouth and iron foot." With its dignified yet graceful form and exquisite craftsmanship, this piece embodies Eastern aesthetics. Whether displayed on a curio shelf or a scholar's desk, or used and admired as a tea vessel, it makes for a delightful collectible. All images are authentic photographs taken in natural light, accurately representing the color and details. The dating is provided for reference only; please examine all photos carefully to assess the condition. The crackles are an inherent characteristic of the glaze, not the result of post-production damage or cracking. It will be carefully packaged and shipped via an express service with a tracking number.
