Cassina Dodo K10 by Toshiyuki Kita, one of the most recognizable reclining armchairs in Italian contemporary design, here offered in an intense version in original Cassina red leather. The Dodo combines a very strong sculptural presence with high functionality: the seat is swivel and reclinable and can be brought into a more extended position, visually transforming into a true chaise longue. The piece retains the original label “Cassina – Made in Italy” and is equipped with a Stabilus BLOC-O-LIFT mechanism. The chair appears in good overall condition, with signs of use consistent with its age. The leather is intact and shows no tears. On the front there is an area of wear with loss of superficial coloration, clearly visible and documented in the photographs; natural folds and slight signs of use on the upholstery are also present. The wear mainly concerns the leather’s surface finish and does not alter the structure, shape, or the strong aesthetic presence of the piece.
