AN ICON OF THE NEOPLASTIC MOVEMENT Synthe sis of experimentation and comfort, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld designed the famous design chair in 1935 for the Metz & Co department store in Amsterdam. Later, taken up worldwide exclusively by Cassina, it became an icon of timeless modern design and always in high demand. UPHOLSTERY Polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. 02 FEATURES Utrecht Armchair STRUCTURE Support frame for seat and backrest in steel tubular with elastic straps. 03 FEATURES Utrecht Armchair SEWING Bar tack. This chair is practically new - even the bar-tack stitches typical of the Cassina edition are in perfect condition - since it furnished a mountain house used for 15 days a year and always covered with a protective cloth. Being upholstered in fabric category 13L (Luxury), the current price of a new one is €4,514. Given the characteristics of the chair it must be picked up from the seller. Any shipment should be carried out by a specialized company and at the buyer’s expense.
