Carving, Arlequin sculpté et peint a la main - 47 cm - Wood - 1950

Elegant vintage wooden statuette depicting the famous Arlequin character, an emblematic figure of Commedia dell'arte. This piece is entirely carved and hand-painted. It features its traditional costume with geometric patterns of blue and ochre diamonds, subtly enhanced with touches of gold. The face is expressive and topped with its characteristic hat. The craftsmanship details reflect Florentine-style artistry from the mid-century. • Era: Circa 1950 - 1960 • Origin: Italy (Florentine Style) • Height: 47 cm • Condition: Beautiful vintage condition. The sculpture shows an authentic original patina. Minor paint chips or tiny signs of use may be present, which is perfectly normal for its age and confirms its authenticity (see carefully the photos which are an integral part of the description).
