Carved and gilded wooden cornucopia, Rococo style – 19th century

Descriptio Cornucopia with a carved and gilded wooden frame, featuring a sinuous profile and abundant decoration of rocaille, scrolls, and vegetal motifs, topped with an openwork crest. It retains an antique rectangular mirror with a curvilinear upper section. Dimensions of the opening: 26 × 21 cm; overall dimensions: 42 × 24 cm. The gilding shows wear, and there are scratches and alterations on the surface of the mirror. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist.
