Carpet - 135 cm - 70 cm - China silk rug

This hand-knotted silk rug from China in a silk-on-silk finish combines a light, pale-gold base with decorative floral arrangements. With dimensions of 135 × 70 cm, it is suitable as an accent in front of a dresser, beside an armchair, or in a small living nook. Larger floral arrangements in the top left and bottom right create a diagonal composition. Smaller flowering branches in the opposite corners complete the pattern. The generously open center allows the individual motifs to stand out particularly well and lends the design a calm effect. Rose, Apricot, and Violet add gentle color accents to the light ground. Muted greens render the leaves, while cream-colored blossoms and fine tendrils complement the design. A slim, darker border frames the inner field; individual blossoms extend decoratively beyond it. This floral oriental rug harmonizes especially well with light textiles, warm wood tones, and simple furniture. Its restrained base color gives the flowers room to breathe and offers versatile mixing possibilities.
