Carlo Brenna (1935) - Esplosione di mimose

Splendid and imposing oil painting on canvas created by the well-known Italian artist Carlo Brenna that captures with extraordinary mastery the liveliness and spring freshness of a dense bouquet of mimosa The work stands out for a tactile and vibrant painting technique where the bright yellow of the flowers is applied with raised brush and spatula strokes capable of delivering an exceptional three-dimensional effect and a great luminosity to the entire composition The color contrasts between the bright yellow of the flowers, the green hues of the leaves, and the background in blue and gray tones create a unique visual dynamism that immediately captures the viewer's eye The painting is enriched and enhanced by a magnificent and robust contemporaneous solid wood frame finely hand-carved with geometric and floral motifs that gives the whole piece a luxurious appearance and a strong stage impact, perfect for decorating elegant spaces, both classical and modern The work is signed clearly and legibly by the artist at the bottom left, Brenna The general conservation conditions of the canvas and the painting layer are excellent, with the colors maintaining their original brightness and intensity, while the frame shows slight and normal signs of time that attest to its authenticity and historical charm Precise dimensions measured from the photographic measurements • Overall height with frame 101 centimeters • Overall width with frame 90 centimeters • Total frame thickness 7 centimeters • Height of the visible canvas from the back 80 centimeters
