Callegari Sante - Relief, Adamo cacciato dal paradiso terrestre -

Until 1956 when the Monument to the Fallen in War was inaugurated in Sermide, a work carried out by the artist who had by then become established. Callegari died in Milan in 1967. The Modern Art Gallery of Milan owns six sculptures: Upright female nude, Bust of a young girl, Head of a young woman, Bust of a Child, Little laundress, Figure of an upright young girl. The work was probably created in the first half of the 20th century, in the Liberty period/style; it can be hung on the wall or placed on a piece of furniture. Measurements: 24 cm x 20.5 cm Good condition I performed a test by making a small scratch on the bottom of the plaque to verify 100% that the object is made of bronze; I have attached photos of the test.
