(C) 1966 VIET NAM WAR CHINESE TOKAREV TYPE 54 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL

(C) 1966 VIET NAM WAR CHINESE TOKAREV TYPE 54 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL This pistol was basically a clone of the Russian TT33 pistol first produced in China in 1951 using a mix of Chinese and Russian parts. This example is dated 1966 on left side of frame, a prime era of the Viet Nam war and was basically standard issue for the Viet Cong. 1966 saw the largest influx of US soldiers of the war up to that point. Standard features are the blued finish, dovetailed rear sight, burr hammer, serrated black composition grips with the star center logo, and comes with one magazine. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Shows obvious holster wear retaining approximately 75% blue , some of which has turned patina. Markings all legible. Grips are fine. Bore is bright. High likelihood of being a war bring back and no import stamps.
