Butterfly Taxidermy full body mount - Papilio blumei - 23...

Papilio blumei — The Jewel of Sulawesi There are creatures that nature seems to have drawn with a particular intention. Papilio blumei is proof of that. Native to the forests of Sulawesi, Indonesia, this butterfly unfurls wings of an iridescent metallic green, threaded with blue and gold reflections that shift with the angle of light — a structural color, alive, impossible to pin down completely. Presented on a black background in a 23x23x5 cm shadow box, every nuance of its wings is exalted with striking precision — a display case that showcases the specimen as much as it protects it. Equipped with UV-resistant acrylic glass, this frame durably preserves the brightness of its hues, with a professional-quality finish. Each specimen being rigorously unique, slight variations in size or patterns may appear from one example to another — making each frame a one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be reproduced exactly.
