PREPARATION, SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY Each item is checked, cleaned or sanitized in ways compatible with the materials and its preservation, then carefully packaged. ASSISTANCE AND REPORTING For any clarification or issue, contact us via the order messaging on Catawiki, indicating the lot number and describing what you found. In case of damage, item not as described or missing content, report the problem promptly to Catawiki assistance, preferably immediately and in any case within 3 days as provided by the platform procedure, so as to enable the handling of the claim and possible suspension of payment. This operational term does not imply waiver of the right of withdrawal or of the legal guarantee under applicable terms. CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL When the purchaser acts as a consumer and legal requirements are met, they may exercise the right of withdrawal without giving a reason within 14 days of receipt of the item, pursuant to Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, subject to statutory exceptions. The decision must be communicated to the seller by explicit declaration, also using the Catawiki procedure. The item must be re-shipped within 14 days of withdrawal communication. For simple retraction, the direct cost of return is borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. Amounts due by law, including standard initial delivery costs, will be reimbursed; higher costs for a more expensive delivery chosen by the buyer are not due. Refund is made without undue delay and within legal terms, with the possibility of withholding until receipt of the item or proof of return, according to applicable law. Amounts collected directly by Catawiki are managed through the platform according to respective competencies, without affecting indispensable rights. The buyer is responsible for any decrease in value arising from handling beyond what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, within legal limits. LEGAL GUARANTEE AND NON-CONFORMITY DEFECTS In consumer sales, the legal conformity guarantee provided by Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code applies, including for used goods, taking into account prior use and contractually declared characteristics. The ordinary duration of liability is two years from delivery. For used goods, any reduction, not less than one year, applies only if validly agreed and permitted by applicable law. In case of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law: repair or replacement, where feasible, or reduction of price or termination of the contract when applicable. Our commercial preference is to resolve valid disputes by returning the item and issuing a full refund when appropriate, rather than negotiating informal discounts. This preference does not exclude mandatory remedies, including price reduction. When return is due to a defect attributable to the seller, the necessary costs are borne by us under the law. Costs for other reasons of cancellation are determined by the cause of cancellation and applicable provisions. RETURNS, REPAIRS AND INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM Before carrying out repairs, restorations, adjustments or interventions by third parties, please contact us to verify the problem and agree on the solution. Unauthorized interventions may alter the original state, compromise verifications and affect liability for damages or defects caused by them. There is no automatic refund for interventions commissioned to third parties. The indispensable rights of the buyer remain: an unauthorized intervention does not by itself result in loss of protection for defects independent of that intervention. The returned item must include accessories and documents received and be protected with appropriate packaging. Please attach the order reference and, if available, a copy of the sale document. The original receipt is not the only acceptable proof of purchase. EXTRA-UE SHIPMENTS AND CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS For destinations outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, duties, taxes and customs clearance charges may apply, depending on the destination and order conditions. Amounts already collected by the platform are not automatically due again. When necessary, tax or identifying information may be requested for customs clearance.
