Designed for the MOON - Bulova Lunar Pilot Special Edition Steel 2025 chronograph On August 2, 1971, the Apollo 15 Space Mission made history, and so did the Bulova Lunar Pilot chronograph. A timepiece customized by Bulova to withstand the conditions of lunar space, it performed its task by providing the mission crew with the exact passage of time, ensuring that no one ran out of oxygen, water, or battery power in the portable life-support system backpack. The watch was also used as a backup to the onboard timers during the critical phase of re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere. Replica of the original watch, updated with our exclusive high-performance quartz movement running at 262 kHz for unprecedented precision, continuing a history of precision.
