Bulova aims to revive the essence of its heritage with the launch of the Classic Jet Star collection, paying homage to its original watches from the 1970s. At the heart of the Jet Star version is the Bulova Manufacture Precisionist high-precision quartz movement, featuring a frequency of 262kHz, bringing accuracy to within plus or minus five seconds per month. The smooth, sweeping seconds hand ticks 16 times per second, adding a touch of elegance to each watch. All watches in the collection are equipped with domed sapphire crystal, luminous hands and hour markers, a cabochon at the hours, date at 3 o'clock, water resistance up to 50 meters, and interchangeable bracelets and straps with spring bars and easy-release closure. Design elements have been carefully selected from the watchmaker's archive, with inspirations specifically drawn from the 1973 model, giving timeless charm to the new Jet Star watches. The turtle-shaped case has been modernized into a contemporary angular 40 mm form, while the original era's dial colors display a captivating “dégradé” effect.
