Bulova aims to rekindle the essence of its heritage with the launch of the Classic Jet Star collection, paying homage to its original watches from the 1970s. At the heart of the Jet Star version is the high-precision Bulova Manufacture Precisionist quartz movement, which features a frequency of 262 kHz, delivering accuracy within about five seconds per month. The smooth and fluid second hand sweeps 16 times per second, adding a touch of elegance to each of the watches. All watches in the collection are equipped with domed sapphire glass, luminescent hands and a cabochon at the hours, date window at 3 o'clock, water resistance up to 50 meters, and interchangeable bracelets and straps with easy-release spring bars. Design elements were carefully chosen from the watchmaker's archive, with inspirations specifically drawn from the 1973 model, giving timeless charm to the new Jet Star watches. The tortoise-shell shaped case has been modernized into a contemporary angular 40 mm form, while the original era dial colors display an appealing “dégradé” effect.
