Reverse: GEORGE VI S · REX · TEN TH OF A PENNY, with Arabic inscription at the bottom. - Grade: MS66 (PCGS). Copper-nickel alloy perforated coin issued for British West Africa, characterized by its distinctive geometric design. The obverse features a six-pointed star drawn with straight lines, centered by a circular hole, with a peripheral inscription and date at the bottom, of symmetric composition and marked symbolic influence. The reverse shows the denomination One Tenth of a Penny around the central hole, crowned by the imperial crown and accompanied by an Arabic inscription, reflecting the cultural diversity of the colonial territory. The specimen retains sharp reliefs, clean fields, and well-preserved original luster, with minimal visible wear, offering an outstanding appearance in line with its high grade MS66.
