Elegant Brazilian Amethyst on Iron Stand from Collection — This exceptional lot features a slice of amethyst geode that captivates with its natural beauty and its complex geological formation. Amethyst, a variety of quartz, is renowned for its shades ranging from delicate lilac to deep violet, here well represented by a cavity rich in sparkling crystals. The slice reveals a breathtaking cross-section of the geode, where the crystalline heart of the amethyst is framed by concentric bands of agate. These striations, with their white, gray and greenish tones, attest to the mineral deposition geological processes that occurred over millions of years, creating a visually fascinating contrast with the regal purple of the inner crystals. Each amethyst crystal inside the cavity is well-formed, with defined faces that reflect light, enhancing its brilliance and color depth. The exterior surface of the slice, unfinished, retains its natural texture and the earthy tones of the host rock, offering an authentic glimpse into geological formation. This specimen is presented on an elegant iron base, specially designed to enhance its beauty and allow easy display in any environment. The combination of the mineral's organic shape with the straight lines of the base creates a natural artwork, perfect to enrich a mineral collection or as a refined decorative element. Minor irregularities, cavities or color variations are part of the natural formation of the specimen and attest to its authenticity and uniqueness.
