BRAZIL. 2,000 Reis. 1924. - Value: 2,000 Reis. - Year: 1924. - Inscriptions: Obverse: Allegorical bust of the Republic surrounded by stars, no legend. Reverse: ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRAZIL · 2000 REIS · 1924. - Grade: MS65 (NGC). Silver 2,000 Reis coin with an allegorical bust of the Republic facing to the right, executed in a classic style of soft lines and surrounded by a ring of stars symbolizing the states of the Brazilian federation. This specimen retains an excellent original mint luster, sharp reliefs and clean fields, with minimal surface marks consistent with the MS65 grade. Issued during the First Brazilian Republic era, it represents one of the most characteristic silver denominations of the country’s monetary system in the first decades of the 20th century.
