Bordalo II is one of the most internationally recognised Portuguese contemporary artists of his generation. A self-described "artivist", his practice is rooted in ecology, waste and over-consumption - creating monumental animal sculptures and murals from discarded materials such as tyres, car parts and plastic waste. His work has been installed across Europe, the United States and Asia. The Leopard Special Edition is a striking giclée print that fuses a hyper-detailed leopard portrait with Bordalo II's signature neon-green urban aesthetic - a powerful collision of wildlife and street culture. This Artist Proof was personally signed and hand-finished by the artist, making it a particularly individual piece within this edition. The work is professionally framed and glazed with Artglass AR 70, a museum-grade anti-reflective glass that protects the artwork while ensuring its colours and details can be admired with virtually no glare. It is shipped in purpose-built professional packaging, arriving safe and ready to hang.
