Two 8-Year-Old Single Malt Whiskies For sale are two distinctive independent bottlings from Murray McDavid: Blair Athol 8 Years Old – Benchmark and Benrinnes 8 Years Old – Cask Partnership Series. Both are expressive Scottish Single Malts with their own individual character. The Blair Athol 8 Years Old offers notes of fresh berries, buttery malt, sweet nuts, cherries and gentle baking spices. Initially matured in Bourbon Hogsheads, followed by a finish in first-fill Port and Madeira casks. The Benrinnes 8 Years Old shows rich notes of dried fruits, pastry, roasted orange, caramelised nuts and toffee. Finished in Justino’s Madeira Wine Barrique, giving the whisky a rich and warming character. Bottle size: 0.7 litres each Alcohol content: Blair Athol 52% vol. / Benrinnes 55.7% vol.
