Binoculars - 1910-1920 - Carpentier

Carpentier theatre binoculars with original case Elegant pair of antique theatre binoculars signed Carpentier, featuring a beautiful finish in chromed metal paired with a green guilloché enamel decoration. A refined model typical of opera and theatre accessories from the early 20th century. The binoculars are accompanied by their original case covered with beige reptile-imitation upholstery. Condition The binoculars are in good overall condition given their age. Some signs of use, micro-scratches and slight patina on the metal are visible. The optics are present. The original case shows wear related to time and use: pronounced rubbing on the corners and edges, discolorations, cracks in the covering, creases from use and oxidation of the snap fasteners. The stitching remains intact. Please carefully examine the photographs which are an integral part of the description.
