Big fossil mosasaur jaw - Fossilised jaw - Mosasaurus beaugei - 251 mm - 137 mm

Beautiful, very impressive jaw fragment with four very large teeth of Mosasaurus beaugei. This extinct sea reptile was the terror of the sea in the Late Cretaceous (66 to 72 million years ago). This jaw fragment is completely original and stabilized with a preservative. The teeth have been reattached and at the fracture surface the roots have been very lightly filled. There are also 3 remaining inner teeth in the jaw cavity. The complete jaw measures 25.1 cm x 13.7 cm. Retrieved from my last trip to the phosphate mines near Oued Zem in Morocco in April 2025. Truly a beautiful display piece. Sent by registered mail and insured. With a matching information card.
