Beyond the sea no. 2425 blue abstract - Anita Kaufmann

Beyond the sea no. 2425 blue abstract by Anita Kaufmann Painting 55.0 x 39.0 :: „The sea! the sea! The endless sea! The deep the wild the eternally free!“ As the viewer gazes at my work I hope they can’t help but be transported into my world sailing around the world with my family for seven years. An incredible journey: 7 years 30 000 nautical miles / 55 000 kilometers 28 countries. Storms waves transatlantic passages the almost incomprehensible vastness of the Pacific weeks with no land in sight isolated islands... Today I live and work in the enchanting medieval city of Regensburg — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — nestled on an island in the Danube River. Through painting I soothe my longing for the boundless life at sea capturing fragments of memory and setting them adrift across the canvas. The „Beyond the sea“ series captures the essence of the sea and sailing evoking a sense of freedom and adventure especially offshore sailing. 140 x 100 cm / 55“x 39“ in Acrylics/mixed media on canvas Shipping rolled in a tube I'm a fulltime freelance artist since 2003 you can find my work in galleries (London Madrid Melbourne) exhibitions art fairs and in collections all over the world. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 55.0 Height: 39.0 Depth: 1 Weight: 10 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
