Dating to 1973 places the work in the historical phase of the early seventies, a period in which Aubertin develops his research on fire, on the red monochrome, on the Tableaux Clous, on Allumettes and on Dessins de Feu, within the context of the European avant-garde linked to the ZERO movement. Provenance from Centro Gallery in Brescia, the autograph signature on the back and archival documentation further contribute to the collecting relevance of the work.
