A significant chapter is devoted to the renewal of German portraiture during the Renaissance. Extensive iconography, including numerous color reproductions, several of which are full-page. Printed in Switzerland. Dust jacket slightly rubbed with minor imperfections and marginal tears; interior in good condition.
