Bench - Teak - Teak wood bench

Large sturdy teakwood bench with underframe / shoe rack – Rustic & Simple – 21st century A characterful and very sturdy long wooden bench, handcrafted from robust solid wood (teak / recycled hardwood). The bench is defined by its authentic appearance with visible mortise-and-tenon joints in the seat and sturdy slanted legs. Under the seat there is a practical underframe with slats, which makes the bench not only visually appealing but also highly functional as a hallway bench, shoe rack, or decorative presentation bench. The wood shows a beautiful natural grain and a warm, matte finish with a rugged character. Made from old Indonesian salvaged wood, so no extra trees were cut down. Recycled teak is simply teak that has been given a second life. The recycled teak beams and planks used to form a house, boat, railroad tie, or rice hopper. Since they were no longer needed for that purpose, after strict selection and treatment they were reprocessed into items such as garden furniture. Recycled teak still retains all the properties of new teak; only no trees need to be felled. Nor are good-quality materials wasted unnecessarily. It is therefore a sustainable and socially responsible alternative to new teak. This handsome and decorative bench is great, for example, as home or garden decor, under a veranda, or in a bathroom. The bench has a height of 45 cm, a length of 140 cm, and a depth of 31 cm. It weighs around 13 kg. The seating surface is 140 cm x 23 cm. Each bench is handmade and unique, so it may differ slightly from the photo. Free to pick up in Zeeland or via delivery with "Brenger". Brenger is a carrier that, via Catawiki, can bring large items such as tables and benches to an address. For now only usable in the Netherlands and Belgium.
