Fernando Bellver Publisher 'Port Said Ediciones' Galeria Juana Mordó '88 "Popeye y Hopper" (Exhibition poster for Galería Juana Mordó). (Panoramic Offset Lithography) 84x34cm MINT/Archive State. A monumental and highly investment-worthy piece of post-modern Pop Art: the original vintage exhibition poster Popeye y Hopper (1988) by the acclaimed Spanish master and National Graphics Prize winner, Fernando Bellver (born 1954). This highly coveted, panoramic poster was published in 1988 by the premier imprint Port Said Ediciones for Bellver's landmark solo exhibition at the legendary Galería Juana Mordó in Madrid. The brilliant, sophisticated composition masterfully bridges high art and pop culture, placing a meticulously cross-hatched figure of Popeye the Sailor directly into the desolate, atmospheric landscape of Edward Hopper's masterpiece House by the Railroad (1925).Rendered via luxury gallery offset printing on premium heavy art stock in an exceptional 84x34 cm panoramic format, it flawlessly captures the delicate graphical textures and deep color contrasts of the original artwork. Complete with bold, clean typography displaying the historical 1988 gallery credits and the artist's name centered within the lower margin. A striking, rare centerpiece for any serious art archive, pop culture collection, or high-end modern interior design space, preserved in absolute pristine, uncirculated MINT / Archive State.
