A striking Japanese pressing of The Beatles' 1967-1970 compilation, released by Odeon in 1982 on collectible blue vinyl. This particular copy represents a significant example of the coloured vinyl variants issued during the early 1980s Japanese reissue era. Pressed on blue vinyl rather than the standard black, it captures a distinctive aesthetic of that period, while the album itself remains one of the most important Beatles collections, spanning the group's most creatively fertile years. This copy arrives fully complete: original obi, inner sleeve, and insert all present—a rarity, as these accompanying items are frequently lost or discarded over four decades. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The sleeve presents well, displaying light age-related wear consistent with careful handling and storage. The edges show some mild wear and softening, with minor whitening and yellowing visible—entirely expected for a Japanese pressing of this vintage. The overall appearance remains attractive and presentable. The spine is legible and structurally sound → VG+ Obi: The obi, while showing a few tears from age, remains fully intact and readable. Given the fragility of these paper bands, this represents solid preservation → VG+ Insert / Inner Sleeve: Original insert and inner sleeve both included and in good condition.
