Bang & Olufsen - BeoVox 3000 Flat Panel, Serviced ! Speaker set

In the late 1980s Bang & Olufsen broke with the traditional wooden crate speaker by having Jacob Jensen design a flat wall panel: the BeoVox 3000 (Type 6716). The speakers are only 7.5 cm deep and combine polished stainless steel with a black fabric grille. They are intended to be mounted flush against the wall; the wall itself acts as an acoustic backing for the bass, which, together with the lateral bass reflex port, results in a full and open sound. The delicate original fabric grilles on the woofers – which in this model almost always get dented or deteriorate – have been permanently replaced by rigid, durable versions. These therefore never need replacing again. Condition: Neat vintage condition with light signs of age. Technically inspected, fitted with permanently new dustcaps, and tested in working order.
