BADFACE (XXI) - Lego Mondrian

3D work inspired by a Lego figure paying homage to Mondrian. Two pop icons united in a fun artwork. It is delivered framed as in the photo. The images do not represent the beauty of the piece. Limited numbered edition of 25 units. Gallery price: €395 BADFACE draws inspiration from the things around him and never sees limitations, but rather formats of opportunity. If you are not satisfied with what you see, why not create it? In 2010, he founded his graphic design agency. Since then, he has alternated his work as a designer at the agency with developing his career as an artist, creating artworks, paintings, and sculptures. His work is in private collections in Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom… The combination of innovative materials and traditional artisanal techniques makes his work unique. He plays with everyday images, creating a different vision of reality where materials act as a catalyst, in line with the speed of his thoughts and actions, rethinking thoughts to look again, daring to explore and reflect on the topic, creating a zero-consciousness to change perception, interaction, and reflection of the materials and supports used, provoking a thought or a smile on the viewer’s face. BADFACE believes in sustainability, and creates unique works from recycling that do not leave spectators indifferent. He uses brushes, spatulas, acrylics, inks, aerosols, or even hands as the agent for expression. During his travels, a sense of expressing his own creativity has grown. Inspired by his experiences, he has developed his own pop art, a passionate artistic vision that combines different techniques on unlikely supports, giving the pieces he creates a second life.
